SAVVAS: How to resources

I wanted to review the many training and professional development resources available for the Salinas teachers.

Training Resources
In case you didn’t know, Savvas develops and delivers trusted, relevant, innovative, and research-based training in multiple modalities. These include:
My Savvas Training offers comprehensive support and training resources for all roles. The online, 24/7, and at-your-own-pace resource includes tutorials, training guides, virtual and recorded training sessions, live chat, email support, etc. And all of this in one place! You can access mySavvasTraining.com through the Help menu in Realize or log in directly to mySavvasTraining.com. One of my favorite mySavvasTraining.com pages is Savvas Realize Tutorials, as it includes a slew of helpful short videos on all things Realize.
Savvas training videos are available on YouTube. You can subscribe to the Savvas Learning channel to receive updates and new videos whenever they are available.

Program Activation
I realize most, if not all, of your teachers attended already back on August 6th, but just a reminder that we recommend new teachers participate in our “Program Activation” or “PA” training. Designed both for traditional print as well as digital content, PA training helps prepare teachers for their first day in the classroom. If you would like to sign up for incremental PA training, navigate to mySavvasTraining.com for pre-recorded webinars for each program that can be viewed 24/7, or contact Jaimee, jaimee.montali@savvas.com, who can help organize scheduled sessions.
