Free Microsoft Office 365 for Educators

Students and educators at eligible institutions can sign up for Office 365 Education for free.

Please visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/education/products/office and enter in your District Email Address to create an account. 

Once you have created an account, you will need to download the applications (Word, Excel, etc.) from the App Store and log in with your new credentials. We recommend using your District Apple ID to download the apps. If you have not created an Apple ID with your District Email Address, please follow the instructions below: 

1. Visit, https://appleid.apple.com/, and select Create Your Apple ID
2. Fill in the required fields (Name, email, etc.)
3. After you've verified your account, you may sign into the App Store.
   • Open the App Store app
   • At the bottom-left, click Sign In
   • Sign in with your new credentials

Once you've created your District Apple ID, you may proceed to the App Store to download the apps. URL to download Microsoft Suite of apps: https://apps.apple.com/us/app-bundle/microsoft-365/id1450038993?mt=12. When prompted, please select “Open in App Store” and install any apps you require. 

Once you open the newly downloaded apps, you will be prompted to sign in with your Microsoft Office credentials. If you are not prompted, please select Application Title (i.e. Word) > Activate Office > Already bought Office? Sign In. Sign in with your Microsoft credentials and it will activate your license.
